The Kindle version of this book is inaccurate - especially in the math section (though to be honest I haven't really looked much at any section but the math yet). I am the head of tutoring services at a USG institution, and I bought this and the hard-copy book to help tailor GACE review tutoring for many of our students who are applying for a BS in Education program. When we got to the review test, several of the questions had no correct choices. When I compared the Kindle version to the hard-copy version, many of the questions and answers were completely different. A few typos in non-critical areas would have been forgivable, but having an answer key say that an answer is correct only for that answer to be INcorrect is not only confusing, it's harmful to students who have bought this book for its use as a study aid.Unfortunately, I also hesitate to recommend the hard copy book, either. Again, on the sample test, there were just too many inconsistencies. Specifically, there are instances where there is obviously more than one correct answer, but the directions say to only pick one answer, and then the answer key also only gives one answer. (To clarify, this was not a "pick the best answer " scenario. It was "pick THE even number," and then there were two even numbers in the answer choices.)There were, also, a few questions that did not answer the question that was asked. Specifically, one of the questions said "what fraction of the whole was left after a portion had been used?" This is asking for a ratio of how much is left to how much of the whole there originally was. However, in the answer and explanation, the book solved the problem, not for the FRACTION that was left, but for the actual AMOUNT that was left. (I.e., the first is a division problem, the second is a subtraction problem - obviously two completely different answers and METHODS!)Finally, the "free review materials!" were ... let's just say "disappointing." I will not continue to elaborate on these other than to say that, for ALL sections (not just math), the practice tests were similar to the book and Kindle version except that they had many more errors and were much less professional.Overall, this book is not terrible, but it seems like it was produced in an incredible rush, so much of the proofing, especially on the sample tests, suffered horribly, which could be extremely confusing to students who are not super confident in their skills.
